As many as 16 thousands people enlivened Jakarta Marathon 2016 in Medan Merdeka Barat, Gambir, Central Jakarta. The running competition passed several iconic landmarks in the city.

Head Division of Achievement Empowerment for Dept. of Sport and Youth, Tedi Cahyono, explained the competition held several categories such as marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21 km), 10 k, 5 k, and maratoonz (children’s sprint).

Tommorow, Road Diversion Applied During 2016 Jakarta MarathonAccording to him, the event was already held four times in Jakarta. The number of participant is increasing from year to year.
“We had 10 thousands participants in 2013. And now we have 16 thousands,” he added.
