Tommorow, Road Diversion Applied During 2016 Jakarta Marathon

Traffic flow on some roads, precisely that will be used for 2016 Jakarta Marathon on Sunday (10/23) tomorrow will be diverted.

Start and finish line is at Silang Merdeka Barat Daya Monas. Routes that passed will be closed at 5 AM-12 PM

"Start and finish line is at Silang Merdeka Barat Daya Monas. Routes that passed will be closed at 5 AM-12 PM," expressed Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Saturday (10/22).

Yansyah disclosed traffic engineering, road closure and open-close system will be applied by cooperating with Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate.

"Not all roads are closed, because this is just situational. We ensure the runner will use of certain roads. It will be re-opened at 12 PM," he stated.

These are lists of roads that will be closed and diverted, as follows:

- Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jalan MH Thamrin, Bundaran HI, Jalan Jendral Sudirman-Patung Pemuda Senayan, closed at 5 AM-12 PM.

- Jalan Abdul Muis, Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Pintu Besar, Jalan Malaka-Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Jalan Ir H Juanda, Jalan Kantor Pos, Jalan Lapangan Banteng and Jalan Veteran, closed at 5-9.30 AM and open gradually.

- Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda until Patung Kuda Indosat, closed at 5 AM-12 PM and open gradually.
