Jakarta-Bekasi Sign Bantar Gebang Addendum

Jakarta Provincial Government together with Bekasi City Administration signed the addendum of cooperation for Bantar Gebang Integrated Dump Site.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said addendum must be run since the dump site is now managed by Jakarta Provincial Government.
“The addendum has been signed by us,” he said, Wednesday (10/26).
City Provides Waste Truck Management SystemThe addendum is applied for previous agreement No. 4/2009 and No. 71/2009 about final dump site land usage improvement to be Bekasi Bantar Gebang Integrated Dump Site.
One points of agreement is changing the compensation from Rp 68 billion to Rp 143 billion.
The operational hour is also changed to be 24 hours.
Routes agreed for waste truck transportation are Jakarta-Cibubur-Jalan Transyogi (Jatisampurna)-Jalan Narogong-Jalan Akses TPST Bantar Gebang (Pangkalan V). This route is able to be passed 24 hours for all waste transport.
Next route is Jakarta-Bekasi Barat Toll-TPST Bantar Gebang. The route is only able to pass at 5 AM to 9 PM for Compactor vehicle type. Same route is also can be passed by dump truck, arm roll, tronton, and compactor at 9 PM to 5 AM.
Moreover, Jakarta Provincial Government must prepare water truck and sweeper unit in front of Bekasi Barat I exit toll gate, Jatiasih toll, Jalan Nrogong, and Cipendawa. The units must clean the area three times a day.
Bekasi Mayor, Rahmat Effendi committed to run all duty well.
“It’s become our commitment to run the duty well. Especially, the compensation is increased 100 percent,” he stated.
