Dept. of Cleanliness is Asked to Manage Garbage Truck Mobility

Jakarta Dept. of Cleanliness is asked to manage the mobility of garbage transport to Bantar Gebang Integrated Dump Site (TPST), Bekasi. It is because the garbage trucks have long queue before.

I think the trucks are too many

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama has asked related regional working units to solve the problem. “I think the trucks are too many,” he said, Wednesday (10/19).

Basuki added that the operational arrangement can be applied since the heavy equipments such as garbage truck is owned by Jakarta Provincial Government.

Based on temporary report, the garbage transport was disturbed lack of fuel. In fact, all heavy equipment and truck are newly purchased.

“It’s no sense of the cause is fuel. Our trucks are newly purchased,” he added.
