Billboards on Two Crossing Bridges in S. Jakarta Controlled

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana disclosed, demolishment is done because the billboard does not have permit. In his region, there are six illegal billboards where two of them have been demolished.

"These billboards have no permit and not pay retribution. That's why we demolish them," he told.

It is in accordance with Jakarta Governor's instruction. Every bridge must be sterile from billboard in order to prevent unwanted things.

Head of East Jakarta Tax Service, Syaukat Arkam, when being confirmed, he did not know about the existence of the billboard. He had never issued a permit for billboards in the bridges in East Jakarta.

"I never collect tax from billboards. Because we also never issue permit," he finished.
