379 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army/police, PPSU, Cleanliness Sub-dept, Fire and Rescue Sub-dept tore down 53 buildings on Jl Ciliwung II, RT 06/01, Cawang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Tuesday (11/15). It is done, because they stood atop the government's land and to smoothen normalization project at Ciliwung River.

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana disclosed, there was no compensation for the owner. Yet the flat tower was prepared to accommodate them, such as Rawa Bebek Flat.

His party also sent first until third warning letter to them. But it was ignored, and only some obey the rules and willing to be relocated to the flat.

Sri Sentani (52), one of citizens admitted she and her two children have been relocated to the flat, precisely on the fourth floor of Merpati Block. But she is still staying in Cawang, because of selling snack and soft drink at Ciliwung Bridge on the side of Jl MT Haryono.

"I've moved to the flat but still go to Cawang due to business. I actually sell in the flat but still quiet," she admitted.
