Billboard on Stamplat Bogor Crossing Bridge Torn Down

A billboard that installed on the Stamplat Bogor Crossing Bridge, Jatinegara, East Jakarta was torn down by the officer, Thursday (11/10) night.

Billboard has long been unused and has no permit. Jakarta government has a policy about billboard ban at the bridge

The billboard in the size of 20x1.5 meters is torn down, because has no permit and its existence is endangering the passing people and motorist.  

The demolishment took a long or until 2 AM, due to big-sized billboard. This is the second time. Previously, it was done at RS Premier Crossing Bridge on Tuesday (11/1).

Head of East Jakarta Satpol PP, Hartono Abdullah disclosed, demolishment was deliberately conducted at night until dawn in order to anticipate severe congestion at noon, because it is located on protocol road.

"Billboard has long been unused and has no permit. Jakarta government has a policy about billboard ban at the bridge," he stated.

So far, the billboard has been brought to the East Jakarta Mayor Office.
