"Besides no permit, the operation is done to give deterrent effect to the billboard owner thus they encouraged to process the permit in accordance with the rules," expressed Andri Kunarso, Head of Taman Sari Sub-district Regional Tax Service Unit (UPPD), Tuesday (11/22).

According to Kunarso, in Taman Sari, from 742 billboards, 160 out of them were demolished by the owner, and 140 billboards have not been demolished. Then the rest 442 owners of billboard are still processing the permit.

"The demolishment must already be demolished within one week. As the initial stage, we already control 25 billboards," he stated.
