Vulcanology and Geology Disaster Mitigation Center for Geology Board of ESDM Ministry noted five sub-districts in South Jakarta are prone to landslide.

The five sub-districts are Pesanggrahan, Jagakarsa, Kebayoran Lama, Cilandak, and Pasar Minggu.
Those areas are prone to landslide if the rain intensity is above normal. Especially areas near river and cliff.

He asked urban village and sub-district heads to anticipate disaster by giving warning to the residents who live in probe to landslide areas.
“We have held meeting to activate the posts. Personnel must guard the post non-stop,” he said, Tuesday (11/22).
He requested the residents should not be worry since the landslide potency is not as high as other cities like Bogor.
