Previously, Muhadjir Effendy, Minister of Education and Culture, issued moratorium of national exam starting next year. National exam for high school and junior high school will be given to provincial governments, while elementary level is given to city/regent governments.
It means, the national exam will be erased. The exam material will be provided by regional governments. The graduation standard will be run by the ministry together with Education National Standard Body (BNSP).
