Budget Absorption of E. Jakarta Education Sub-dept Reached 57 Percent

East Jakarta Region 2 Education Sub-dept has absorbed budget amounting to 57 percent. It is due to the failure of the implementation of six projects in heavy renovation of school buildings.

Heavy renovation for school was failed auction, and another auction cannot be done due to lack of time

Head of Jakarta Region 2 Education Sub-dept, Ungkadi disclosed, until now, budget absorption for 2016 APBD in SKPD has reached 57 percent of the total value of the budget in this unit around Rp 240 billion.

C. Jakarta's Budget Absoprtion Reached 54.23 Percent

"Heavy renovation for school was failed auction, and another auction cannot be done due to lack of time. As a result, the budget is only reaching 57 percent," he stated, Thursday (11/24).

As known, six schools that will be renovated this year are SMPN 49, SDN Balekambang 01, SDN Cijantung 06/09, SDN Cipinang Melayu 08, SDN Baru 01 and Cibubur 04 Pagi. Each building, budget ceiling for renovation reaches Rp 500 million up to 1.8 billion.

His side is optimistic if the BOP fund this month was disbursed, the budget absorption would hit 90 percent. This is because the BOP could directly be injected to school to direct expenditure, ranging from telephone charge, water, electricity, internet, honorary teacher salary and so on.

He added that the slow budget absorption is also because BOP budget not covered in pure budget. Thus it is entered into APBD Amendment where it will be disbursed this month.
