Chili Price in West Jakarta Declines

The price of chili in several traditional markets in West Jakarta has declined from Rp 80 thousand/kg.
Now the supply is back to normal
Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the curly chili price in Cengkareng and Tomang Barat markets is now Rp 55 thousand/kg.
The green bird’s eye chili is Rp 40 thousand/ kg, red bird’s eye chili is Rp 50 thousand/kg.

Yuniarti (44), trader in Cengkareng Market, said the high price of those commodities were caused by low supply from Anyar Market, Tanggerang.
“Now the supply is back to normal,” she said, Thursday (12/1).
Meanwhile, West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Cooperative, Micro Small Middle Enterprise and Trade, Sonar Sinurat, admitted those commodities price now has declined.
According to him, Jakarta still relies supply from Garut, Bandung, and Sukabumi, West Java.
