New Year Holiday, 400,000 Visitors Targeted to Enjoy TMII

The Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) management is targeting 400,000 visitors to visit and enjoy the TMII during Christmas and New Year holiday.

Director of TMII Culture, Sulistiyo Tirtokusumo ensured TMII would be able to attract 400,000 visitors on Christmas and New Year holiday this year. Based on last year's experience, the number of visitors was 325,000 people from target about 300,000 people.

"Moreover, we will give more interested events here," he stated, Saturday (12/17).

S. Jakarta Holds Christmas Safeguards Ceremony

To hit target, his side will give various events on December 17, 2016-January 1, 2017. Among them are dangdut music, wayang kulit and kris exhibition from Singosari Empire.

"We're optimistic it will attract more visitors," he expressed.

For security, Sulistiyo would also prepare 800 personnel of Satpol PP,  police, army, Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, urban village and sub-district. 

"We also have coordinated with Jakarta Transportation Dept and Polda Metro Jaya related to traffic engineering. We also set up 15 parking areas here," he closed.
