Train Ticket for Christmas & New Year Holiday Is Sold Out

As we know, Christmas and New Year holiday is surely used by people for homecoming. No wonder, train ticket sale to Central and East Java dated on December 22-24 is sold out.

This year, the number of train ticket issuance is increasing 21 percent than last year

Senior Manager of Public Relations for PT KAI Daops I, Sapto Hartoyo expressed as many as 34,144 tickets are issued every day during Christmas and New Year holidaym Ticket has been included 11 additional trains.

"This year, the number of train ticket issuance is increasing 21 percent than last year which reached 28,000 tickets. Because we just issued 7 additional trains last year," he expressed, Tuesday (12/20).

As for the favorite tickets booked, they are Solo, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. Then for West Java is still available because most people ride thr bus. 

"New Year, we alert 1,083 internal officers assisted by 20 officers of army, 244 officers of police and 6 police dogs," he stated.

Aside that, his side will prepare material tool for alert (AMUS). It is a carriage equipped by quick response tool. 

"We predict the peak of returning flow will fall on January 2-4, 2017," he closed.
