City to Evaluate Transjakarta Depok-UKI Route

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono welcomed the representatives of the demonstrators from public transport K56 (Depok-Cileungsi). Those request a re-route of Transjakarta bus (Depok-UKI).

They protest Transjakarta bus not to stop at Cibubur Junction, because their income has decreased almost 50 percent

The demonstrator demands Transjakarta bus not to pass through Cibubur Junction. Because, all this time, its existence has been detrimental to them up to 50 percent.

"They protest Transjakarta bus not to stop at Cibubur Junction, because their income has decreased almost 50 percent," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (12/23). 

Transjakarta to Apply One Man One Ticket System Next Year

From the discussion result, there will be route moratorium for one month for Transjakarta route. The bus remains operate but not pass on Cibubur Junction.

"There should be joint discussion. That's why we impose route moratorium for one month," he expressed.

According to him, the public transport K56 is not under Jakarta Transportation Dept, but Bogor. Thus there must be solution that could be beneficial to both parties.

"For one month, we give chance to several parties to find the best solution where the one side also gives space to meet the interests of Jakarta," he disclosed.
