City Gives Aid to Flood Victims in Bima City

Jakarta Provincial Government gives aid to the flood victim in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). 

Hopefully, this is useful to help our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster

"Hopefully, this is useful to help our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster," disclosed Saefullah, City Secretary, in Bima City, Thursday (1/5) afternoon.

Saefullah added, the aid use is also flexible, expected to prioritize that is most needed in Bima City. Among other are education, health and city cleanliness operational fields. "The assistance we provide is about Rp 200 million from Jakarta Bazis," he expressed.

Aid for Flood Victims in Kembangan Distributed

Head of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Muhammad Rum, thank for help given by Jakarta government.

"We are very thankful and will be disbursed to our brothers in need," he stated.

As for the information, the flash flood occurred in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on December 21 and 23, 2016.  The flooding has inundated thousands of homes in three sub-districts. Emergency response set was extended to January 12, 2017.
