Leakage of gas tube has destroyed a house at Jl Pejaten Barat II, RT 05/08, Pejaten Barat Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta, Thursday (1/13), at around 9.30 AM.
We managed to extinguish it within 45 minutes. No fatalities or casualties in the incident
Mochamad Arief, a Fireman of South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept said house belongs to Haris (46) is used as a cooking place.
"The flames comes out from a gas tube when being used as cooking. Then immediately burns the curtains in the kitchen and getting bigger," he told.
