Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo denies the issue saying that the RT/RW operational money in Jakarta would be erased if he was elected as Indonesian President.

He asserted that the issue is not right and nonsense. Besides, RT/RW operational money in Jakarta was just recently raised from previously Rp 600 thousand becomes Rp 965 thousand for RT, and Rp 1 million becomes Rp 1.2 million for RW.

“ That issue is not right. I am present here to emphasize it. If later our City Budget (APBD) increased, the operational money will increase. That is the logic ,” stated Jokowi when attending East Jakarta Administration Leaders Forum in Matraman Sports Hall (GOR), Friday (5/31).

Jokowi stressed that if an activity had running well, the budget for it will definitely be increased. Otherwise, if the activity misses the point, it needs to be straightened.

“Do not be easily believe on issue since there are many of it (issues) now,” he asserted.
