Jl. Fatmawati Closing Period Shortened

Acting Jakarta Governor (Plt), Sumarsono requested to shorten Jl. Fatmawati closing period. Previously, it will be closed for 7 months but shortened to 6 months.

"There are requests from citizen to shorten Jl. Fatmawati closing period. Actually it needs 7 months, but I requested 6 months," said Sumarsono at City Hall, Wednesday (1/18).

Part of Jalan Fatmawati to Be Closed

Closing period will begin on February 4 until August 8. It will close 400 meters of Jl. Fatmawati.

According to Sumarsono, to make the construction progress quicker, it is needed to close the road because the project needs a big space for Haji Nawi Station construction.

"Need wide space for equipment and others," he closed.

Transportation Department and Polda Metro Jaya are still coordinating for traffic diversion. They will directly inform it to public.
