38 Plots of Land Affected MRT Project will Be Consigned

Jakarta Provincial Government plans to consign 38 plots of land at MRT location that have not been acquired due to price disagreement matter.

After counseling, 96 owners of land are willing to be paid using appraisal price

"If there is no agreement until the end of this month, it will be consigned in January 2017. Later on, the court will set the price that will be paid," said William P Sabandar, Director of PT MRT Jakarta, Wednesday (12/14).

Of the remaining 134 plots of land, 96 out of them already have agreement and will be paid in the near future.

2017, MRT Construction Accelerated

"After counseling, 96 owners of land are willing to be paid using appraisal price. And it is then continued with completion of document and payment. It's targeted to be completed this month," he furthered.

According to appraisal price, the land price in such area is approximately Rp 20 million per square meter. But a few residents still reject their land paid by Rp 150 million per square meter.

Based on PT MRT data, the 96 plots that have been approved are depot area (20 plots), Pondok Pinang (4 plots), Jalan Batan (8 plots), Lebak Bulus Station (5 plots) and RA Kartini Corridor (11 plots).

There are also Fatmawati Station (7 plots), Jalan Fatmawati Corridor (10 plots), Cipete Raya Station (5 plots), Haji Nawi Station (19 plots), Block A Station (4 plots) and Sisingamangaraja Station (3 plots).

As for the 38 plots that have not been approved are RA Kartini Corridor (5 plots), Fatmawati Station (1 plot), Jalan Fatmawati Station (8 plots), Cipete Raya Station (9 plots), Haji Nawi Station (7 plots) and Block A Station (8 plots).
