Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono, acknowledged that utility excavation in the capital is a classic problem without cease. He warned related unit to meet standard operating procedure (SOP) in the case of a utility excavation.

It must be a reference, don't create their own network

Sumarsono disclosed, there should be synchronization plan in doing the job, starting from program, budget, and timework. However, he admitted, it is difficult because of different each agency's disbursement.

"Whose name is the telephone, electricity, road must be synchronized in a planning, programming and budgeting system with clearer schedule. But it was not easy because budget of each agency is different," he said, Tuesday (1/24) at City Hall.

Therefore he wants all agencies should refer to the existing spatial planning, thus the utility arrangement could be more orderly.

"It must be a reference, don't create their own network," he uttered.
