City Legislative (DPRD) is supporting City Provincial Government's plan about Islamic Museum development at Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC). They hoped, the museum interior design could be realized through 2018 City Budget (APBD).
The support was directly conveyed by Vice Chairman of Jakarta DPRD, M Taufik, when he met the Islamic Art Department Director, Yannick Lintz, at executive meeting room on ninth floor, Tuesday (1/24).
JIC Will Be Sterilized From PKLTaufik disclosed that museum physical construction has been completed, and the council hoped its interior design could be done next year. "We support it," he expressed.
Islamic Art Department Director, Yannick Lintz, admitted he has seen the physical condition of the building that will serve as the Islamic Museum of JIC.
"It's an honor for us to help realize the construction of the Museum," he said.
He asserted that he was ready to give input on the museum that will be the pride of citizens.
"Museum without visitors cannot be called as a museum. Two things need to be done together, namely building construction and interior design," he finished.
