Pembangunan SWRO di Kepulauan Seribu Akan Dilanjutkan

SWRO Project in Seribu Islands Recontinued

The Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) construction located at nine points that spread in Seribu Islands will be re-continued this year. To conduct it, the government will spend Rp 97 billion.

We continue it again because this program is the most needed in Seribu Islands

"We continue it again because this program is the most needed in Seribu Islands. Last year's auction winner was blacklisted, so there must be another auction," disclosed Teguh Hendrawan, Head of Seribu Islands Water Resources Sub-dept., during observation, Wednesday (2/35).

Teguh explained, related with blacklist matter, the maintenance guarantee in bank that reached Rp 4.5 billion was also deposited to local treasury. This is because, from contract in July-November, construction was only 3 percent.

City Received Water Supply System

"We hope there is new contract signature in March thus can be realized in April," he expressed.

He proposed there should be a masterplan of construction in Seribu Islands, thus Water Resources Dept. could easily assist it. As last year, there was construction of breakwater, sidewalk and abrasion embankment
