28 Honorary Involved in Discussion of 32 Draft Bylaws

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), involving 28 honorary, locally known as tenaga ahli in discussion of the 32 draft bylaws included in the preparation of the Program for the 2017 Bylaw Formation Program (Propemperda).

Thus the ratified bylaw will be in accordance with the applicable legal regulations

"Honorary helps to smoothen discussion of the 32 draft bylaws proposed by the executive and the legislative," disclosed M. Taufik, Chairman of Jakarta Regional Legislation Agency (Balegda), Thursday (1/26).

Taufik explained that they would help duty of Jakarta Balegda members in term of draft bylaw discussion by the legislative. For instance, revision of Bylaw on Marketing from the executive, the honorary helps to collect supporting data related to market management for legislative members.

Draft Bylaw 2017 APBD Proposed to Council

"Thus the ratified bylaw will be in accordance with the applicable legal regulations," he expressed. 

He went on the say that they will also be active in arrangement of six draft bylaws from the legislative. 28 honorary will be divided into part of supporting in six work teams under Balegda.

"Every team will be responsible for preparing an academic paper and draft bylaw council initiative," he expressed.

Taufik is optimistic honorary's role will speed up the discussion. "We're targeting draft bylaw that will be discussed and set a lot more this year than last year," he finished.
