Council Wants Transportation Bylaw to Be Revised

Jakarta Regional Legislation Agency (Balegda) Member, Ruddin Akbar Lubis assessed the bylaw No. 5/2014 on Transportation needs to be revised. This is because, in the bylaw, it needs to accommodate transportation management in Seribu Islands.

"Just revise, instead of not making the new one," he expressed, Friday (1/27).

According to him, the executive must respond quickly to propose revision. Moreover, a while ago, there was an accident involving a motor boat and killing 24 people. Therefore, the government does not only focus on transportation in the land.

He added there has been no boat departure schedule until outer island thus it is rarely glimpsed by the tourist.

"Sea transportation can be managed as Transjakarta with per-mile rupiah scheme," he finished.
