Council Hoped that SWRO Construction will Be Realized This Year

City Council (DPRD) hoped that Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) in nine residential islands can be realized immediately this year.

"SWRO construction is already included in City Budget (APBD) 2017," said H.E. Syahrial, Member of City Council Commission D, Monday (1/30).

SWRO Project in Seribu Islands Recontinued

He asked that SWRO construction in nine islands which is part of City Water Resources Dept. responsibility, will be not face obstacle like last year.

"Executive must find a representative, profitable developer," he said.

Syahrial also reminded that SWRO auction progress must be more selective and the winner should have experiences and committment.

"Council is also watching when construction is on the progress," he added.

Meanwhile, City Water Resource Dept. Head, Teguh Hendrawan, continued that his side already proposed 9 SWRO construction program valued Rp 97 billion in City Budget 2017.

"We re-work this program because it is most needed program in Seribu Islands. Last auction winner is already blacklisted," he continued.

As to know, SWRO project construction in nine residential islands in last year has stopped because of last auction winner has financial problem.
