Two out of four pick-up cars owned by fruit peddlers which usually parked on the side of Jl. Raya Bogor, Rambutan, Ciracas, East Jakarta were towed by 50 personnel of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., army and police on Wednesday (2/1) evening.

Slamet Dahlan, Section Head of Handling and Operational for East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. disclosed, in such place, locals always protested the existence of fruit peddlers. This is because they triggered traffic jam.

According to him, besides that, the personnel also controlled illegal parking and public transports from some areas. They managed to control 12 vehicles like as trucks, box cars, buses and pick-up cars.
"Here we tow 10 vehicles, 55 vehicles are made in a dossier (BAP) and 22 other vehicles are made in police BAP," he finished.
