SKPD/UKPD Can Establish Cooperation with Media

We have friends (SKPD and public relation) in order to know the creative process that they do get into the readers and explore the possibility of cooperation

The regional working units (SKPD/UKPD) under serving City Provincial Government are able to cooperate to socialize program, policy or regulation through media. It is deemed effective for the delivery to the public.

"We have friends (SKPD and public relation) in order to know the creative process that they do get into the readers and explore the possibility of cooperation," said Netty Herawati, Secretary of Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistics Dept., during a visit to the Office of Kompas Gramedia, West Jakarta, Thursday (2/2).

Publication cooperation, Herawati furthered, can optimize the reach of communication and socialization through the use of platforms and programs are offered, thus residents can understand and take advantage of services provided by the city government.

"Like BPTSP voicing free broker service, Housing Dept. could be working with the tabloid or magazine relating to the property. We were also given space to promote our programs through events," she expressed.

Group Editorial Director, General Interest Media Kompas Gramediam Didi Kaspi Kasim uttered that his side is ready to cooperate with the city government in spreading information to the public.

"With out audiences and programs, we hope can be a partner of the government to answer the problem of communication. We will serve to change people's behavior from across generations through our audience," he said.

There are 30 members joined in the visit. They are public relations section from five cities and one regency, as well as SKPD/UKPD that have the possibility of establishing the cooperation.
