City Involves KPK to Optimize Local Revenue

City Provincial Government is undertaking the declaration of action and joint commitment to optimize local revenue by involving the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

I hope it can run well and its result will be positive this year

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed the step is taken to create a government that is accountable, transparent, professional, and sterile from corruption, collusion and nepotism.

"I hope it can run well and its result will be positive this year," he disclosed, at City Hall, Friday (2/3).

Council Wants Taxpayer Mapping

Until now, he explained, local revenue optimization is still hampered by some factors. One of them is many are still in arrears.

"From the report, there are still problems that must be resolved. So there must be solution," he stated.

KPK Vice Head, Saut Situmorang conveyed do not only see the tax from its value, but also responsibility, discipline, social order, etc.

"Not all about taxpayer, but also the government, All must get involved," he uttered.

As for the information, the planned local tax revenue on 2017 City Budget (APBD) was set at Rp 35.2 trillion. The amount increased by Rp 3.6 compared to last year, which was at Rp 31.6 trillion.

Formerly, his party also did cooperation and supervision of local tax revenue optimization for seven days.

To smoothen this program, the city government initiated to involve KPK and Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
