14 Land Lots in Ciliwung River Embankment Freed

East Jakarta Land Procurement Committee (P2T) already freed 14 citizen land lots at RT 11/02 and RT 08/05, Balekambang Urban Village, Kramat Jati which got impact from Ciliwung River normalization. While other 30 land lots still in validation progress.

East Jakarta Economy and Living Environment Assistant, Sofiyan Tahir, said that river normalization affected to lots in Ciliwung River embankment from Pekayon Urban Village, Cijantung (Pasar Rebo), Balekambang, Cililitan, Cawang (Kramat Jati), Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu (Jatinegara) to Kebon Manggis (Matraman). Right now, most of them still in inventory and mapping progress.

"Besides RW 04 in Bidara Cina, we are not inventoried it yet. Even in Balekambang there is a land whose already in payment progress," he expressed, Monday (2/6).

Balekambang Urban Village Head, Mintarsih, said that 14 land lots payment progress was held last week with appraisal price. The payment progress is a part of first phase of land  acquisition in 2017.

"The first phase of land payment from citizen from two different RT and RW are 44 land lots. But, 30 lots were postponed due to validation need," she said.

She explained that validation is needed because of document shortage which is required from citizen who owned the lands. After the documents requirements are completed, payment progress can be done immediately.

She added that besides of 44 inventoried land lots, there is still 7.5 hectare of Ciliwung River embankment area which is affected by the normalization. The land spread at RW 01, 02, 04, and 05.

"Right now, it is still in mapping progress. After mapping, the map fields and its ownership can be cleared," she closed.
