City Council Asked E-ID Blank Re-Stocked

City Council Commission A Chairman, P. Ahmad, asking E-ID blank supplies from Ministry of Internal Affairs (Kemendagri) can be delivered faster because the blank already runs out thus many citizen not receiving recording reference letter (suket).

The Gubernatorial Election will be held soon but blank stock has not been sent, thus we asked for accelerating the delivery

300,000 Jakartans Have Not Received e-KTP

He added that even the reference letter's validity can be checked, but according to him it will be better if E-ID blank is delivered immediately.

"It will trouble the reference letter owners if they are not well known by their surroundings. Thus please immediately deliver the blank so it can be printed quickly," he added.

As to know, Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department (Disdukcapil) already published 57,763 reference letters to temporarily replace E-ID blank.

Jakarta Disdukcapil Head, Edison Sianturi, said the reference letters have same function as E-ID card that can be used to vote in Gubernatorial Election 2017.
