E-ID card Machine Damaged, Residents Had to Go Home

Tens of residents who want to propose data recording for e-ID card in Lubang Buaya Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta are disappointed. This is because recording machine in the urban village office was damaged.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, Tuesday (9/13), residents who will propose e-ID card had to postpone his desire. This is because administrative officer explained that the e-KTP recording machine was broken. Residents are advised to return on Wednesday (9/14) tomorrow.

"We apologize you have to return tomorrow morning because our machine damaged now," said Aji Triyono, an urban village officer.

E-ID Card Cannot Be Duplicated

When being confirmed on this matter, Head of Population Unit for Lubang Urban Village, Erlita said the recording machine has damaged since morning. Similar condition is also spotted in all over cities. She got information from an official of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept.

"Network is still good, but not for the machine. It happens in all areas," she stressed.

She suspected the damage is at the server that is in the dept office. Such matter is the first time happened.

Jamal (46), a local resident hoped the government to immediately fix it. Thus residents could process e-ID card without any hassles.

"I think the case only happens in Lubang Buaya, but also almost in all areas. Hopefully it can be resolved soon," he said.
