Traffic of Jl. Matraman Directed to Transjakarta Lane

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. and police personnel are imposing traffic diversion at Jl. Matraman Raya, Kebon Manggis, Matraman, East Jakarta. Vehicles heading to Kampung Melayu are directed to pass the Transjakarta bus lane. 

This policy is taken at around 11 AM. And will be continued after voting is done

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, M. Sholeh disclosed traffic diversion is imposed, because 13 polling stations (TPS) set up on the street. To avoid traffic jam, vehicles had to be directed to the Transjakarta lane.

"We direct them (vehicles) to pass the Transjakarta lane," he stated, Wednesday (2/15).

Control and Operational Section Head, Slamet Dahlan added 20 personnel have been alerted to manage traffic at junction of Ayam Church until Jl. Matraman. Additionally, he also deploys tens of personnel of police and Satpol PP to optimize it.

"This policy is taken at around 11 AM. And will be continued after voting is done," he expressed.

East Jakarta KPU Chairman, Nurdin said 13 polling stations that moved to Jl. Raya Matraman is the instruction of National Army Commander that prohibits polling stations set up in the complex for the sake of military neutrality. Those polling stations consist of 07-19 with 7,634 final voters lists (DPT).

"Some have already finished voting. And will be continued with a quick count and we expect to be completed around 3 PM," he disclosed.
