Entire Schools in Jakarta Will Hold Communal Work

To commemorate the 2017 National Waste Care Day (HPSN), Jakarta Education Dept. will hold a communal work in schools in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/21).
The communal work is held prior to teaching and learning activities
Head of Public Relation and Inter-Institutional Cooperation for Jakarta Education Dept., Sarwoko said communal work will be held simultaneously start from 7 AM to finish. It was written on Education Dept's Circular Letter No. 8/SE/2017/ about Communal Work in Commemoration of 2017 HPSN.

The communal work is held prior to teaching and learning activities. Those schools also have received our circular letter," he said, Monday (2/20).
Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji added the environment education and cleanliness must be taught early. Communal work's purpose aims to encourage students to care on their surrounding environment.
He furthered students can also register the cleanup action in their schools at http://bit.ly/PESAN2017, as a participatory space which facilitates the participation of many people in responding waste problem challenges in Indonesia.
"It was shared by waste caring communities. The activity will become a viral. So, it can easily be detected by all," he closed.
