Seribu Islands Residents Urged to Maintain the Sea

Seribu Islands Regency Administration urges local residents to preserve the ecosystem of the sea. This is because many people who rely on its economy from the sea.

Ismer Harahap, Vice Regent of Seribu Islands asserted, the ecosystem and beauty of the sea must be maintained, instead of misused.

"Tourists here to see and enjoy the beauty of the sea. This is what we still promote," he expressed, during discussion about development of Untung Jawa Island and Tidung along with Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Monday (2/20).

Seribu Islands to Build Wave Breaker in 9 Islands

To realize the city as National Strategic Tourism Plans (KSPN), there must be cooperation and resident awareness.

"Tourism infrastructure must be developed continuously. We want to attract more tourists and prosper our residents," he finished.
