Grogol is clean from inundation now
Stationary pumps installed in Grogol Urban Village, West Jakarta have managed to dampen water as high as 60 cm that flooded several streets. The pump itself is precisely located at Jalan Susilo Raya.
Grogol Urban Village Head, Henny Agustini said, water overflowed into Jalan Susilo Raya until Jalan Susilo 2B since dawn. At 6 AM, water receded after being sucked up by stationary pump.
Water Conduit on Jalan Kemang Raya Added"Grogol is clean from inundation now. Pump under flyover also works well thus water quickly receded," he expressed, Tuesday (2/21).
He also thanks for the help of PPSU personnel in the field. Here, the main priority is cleaning of the drain and the water conduit.
"Conduit must be cleaned to smoothen water flow toward the drain. So we alert them," he finished.
