Floods that inundated a residential area on Jalan Borobudur Raya, RW 07, Jelambar Urban Village, West Jakarta has receded. The condition can be handled after portable pumps sent to suck up water from residential to Grogol River.

Jelambar Urban Village Head, Ambari disclosed high rainfall yesterday had flooded residential at RW 07 as high as 30 cm. His side immediately sent PPSU personnel and portable pump to the field until 11 PM. 

"We want to make our residential sterile from flooding thus residents can sleep well," he expressed, Wednesday (2/22).

Petamburan Grogol Sub-district Water Resources Execution Unit Head, Juniarto expressed, Borobudur area is prone to flood, because it is located below the surface of Grogol River.

"Nevertheless, we remain try to normalize water conduits and alert mobile pumps," he closed.
