Officer Must Help Residents to Clean Environment After Floods

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat instructs all officers in the field to help local residents clean up the environment when floods recede. It is to prevent disease.

"I instruct the officer to help residents clean up mud and garbage left by flood," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (2/22).

According to him, readiness of the flood handling by City Provincial Government is already maximal. Thus if the flood occurs, they will directly work in accordance with duty and its authority.

"And residents must remain vigilant. Extreme weather is expected until the end of February,' he finished.
