72 Vehicles in C. Jakarta Controlled

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. controlled 72 vehicles that violating several rules.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Harlem Simanjuntak, said the raid targeted several locations that prone to violations, especially illegal parking. Some of the locations are on Jl. Gajah Mada, Tanah Abang area, and Kemayoran.

"The enforcement should not be slack, thus we combed the area twice a day to provide a deterrent effect," he said, Friday (3/3).

He added that 18 motorcycles were netted, 26 private cars got BAP from police and 10 cars got BAP from Transportation Department (Dishub). Next, 8 units of motorcycle were grounded, and 11 another vehicles were stopped from operation.

"We will continuously hold the controlling , especially for illegal parking that really disturb the traffic," he closed.
