A connecting channel (PHB) on Jalan Swasembada, Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta is dredged. It aims to accommodate mud in large quantities when rain pours.

North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Herning Wahyuningsih said, dredging is carried out from next to office of Kebon Bawang Urban Village until bridge as long as 220 meters with five meters width and one meter depth.
"The channel is full of mud. Moreover rain continues to pour the capital. Hence, we dredge the channel up to one-one half meters depth," she expressed, Monday (3/6).
