End of April 2017, Sidewalk in Central Jakarta Expanded

Repair and expansion of the sidewalk in Central Jakarta will be started at the end of April 2017.

This year, sidewalk will be expanded up to 10.5 km and will spend Rp 96 billion

Thus far, the stages of project planning and site surveys have been completed.

Sidewalk on Jalan Yos Sudarso Improved

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, Aris Komaris Nandika disclosed, repair and expansion of sidewalk is targeted can be contracted with the contractor in the upcoming April through e-catalog.

"This year, sidewalk will be expanded up to 10.5 km and will spend Rp 96 billion," he stated, Monday (3/13).

Such fund is also including drains repair, utility box construction and disabled people track.

"It will be executed at Jalan Karang Anyar Raya, Blora and Kebon Sirih toward Tugu Tani," he told.

Then for sidewalk expansion will be done at Jalan A.M Sangaji, Jalan Bungur and Jalan Tanjung Selor as well as Percetakan Negara III.

"It includes Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah 1 and 2," he stated.
