169 samples of food products were detected containing harmful substances after a sudden inspection conducted by South Jakarta Administration and BPOM in modern shopping centers and traditional markets.

Those dangerous food products were consisting of agricultural products 71 samples, livestock products 43 samples and fishery products 55 samples. In addition, 16 samples out of them were dangerous.
South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irmansyah revealed products that contained formalin and metanil yellow dye should be withdrawn from the market.
