Pasar Jaya wants to buy a cool storage to store chili peppers and onions

Jakarta Provincial Government assured, food stocks during Ramadan until Eid ul Fitr will be safe.

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed, PT Food Station as caretaker of Cipinang Market has prepared rice stocks to meet the needs of Jakartans.

"All will be safe, because Food Station until now has been providing rice stocks. Pasar Jaya wants to buy a cool storage to store chili peppers and onions. This has been through survey," stated Saefullah, when being confirmed on Friday (3/17).

Head of Economic Affairs Bureau for Jakarta Provincial Government, Sri Haryati admitted her side is always discussing price and quantity of food stocks every Thursday.

"Every Thursday, we discuss price and food stocks whether there is problem or not. If the price is rising, we will know," she told, at City Hall.

He added Jakartans can also find out information via the city's official website at infopangan.jakarta.go.id, deemed to have represented food prices in the capital market.
