U-Turn in Front of Cipinang Lapas Closed

Due to Cipinang Flyover project, the U-turn in front of Cipinang Detention Center (Lapas), Jl. Bekasi Timur, East Jakarta is closed. It is purposed to minimize traffic congestion.

The flyover project has been touched preparation stage

Andreas Eman, Section Head of Traffic Unit for East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. said U-turn closure is done in line with the installation of flyover poles.

"The flyover project has been touched preparation stage," he expressed, Friday (3/17).

Next Week, U-Turn Under Kembangan JORR W1 Closed

If the flyover operates, he stated, the road at Cipinang Jaya's railway crossings would be closed. All vehicles coming from Jl. Bekasi Timur Raya-Jl. Raya Bekasi or vice versa will be rerouted to the flyover.

As known, when U-turn is closed, vehicles coming from Jatinegara toward Jl. Cipinang Jaya Raya must use Kebon Singkong U-turn.

Then vehicles from Pondok Kopi or Jl. Cipinang Jaya Raya must use U-turn in front of Cipinang Narcotics Lapas.
