Jakarta Environment Dept. targeting 1,000 RWs from 2,700 RWs in City will have trash bank in 2017.

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji, said through trash bank, trash sorting and reuse can be done into economically valuable.
"There are only 400 RWs that have trash bank. We hope mayor to urban village head will support to build trash bank in every RW," he expressed, Monday (3/20).
Kampung Rambutan Trash Bank Produced 800 Kilograms of CompostAccording to him, total Jakarta trash volume that reaches 7,000 tons per day could be reduced by trash bank averagely 30-40 tons.
"Trash bank addition surely will decrease the volume of waste dumped into Bantar Gebang landfill (TPST).
