Council Encourages City to Certify Their Assets

Jakarta Legislative (DPRD) is encouraging Jakarta Provincial Government to certify their assets. By so, the owned assets could be recorded properly in Regional Assets Management Body (BPAD).

There must be improvement, thus all assets can be certified soon

Jakarta DPRD Commission B Chairman, Tubagus Arief disclosed BPAD must maximize its performance, that is by certifying all existing assets. Thus the recording could be more orderly and neat.

"There must be improvement, thus all assets can be certified soon," he stated, Wednesday (3/22).

His party also suggested the assets that have been certified to be utilized, thus the annexation action could be avoided. The owned lands can be used for its designation such as for flat tower, green open space (RTH), or others.

"If it is certified, just utilize it, or at least given a signpost first to avoid unwanted things," he told.

He also appreciates city lands that have signpost at some spots. It should be continued thus can be recorded properly. "Some were already installed by a signpost, so do the same thing to record them all," he finished.
