City Uploaded 1,013 Data Set

Jakarta Provincial Government uploaded 1,013 data set and 1,844 documents that can be accessed through data.jakarta.go.id portal.

Jakarta Communications, Informatics, and Statistics (Diskominfotik) Dept. Head, Dian Ekowati said open data implementation is in accordance with Law No. 14/2008 about Public Information Disclosure. Principally, City strongly supports the transparency of government.
"Information disclosure will support to create a responsive, efficient, and effective government. Thus we integrate data portal with Jakarta Smart City," she said in "Innovation in Public Service Through Open Data: Learning From Indonesian Cross-Sectoral Champions" seminar that was held by Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Wednesday (3/22).
Jakarta Smart City Develops Flood Monitoring ApplicationShe gave an example for open data integration through Jakarta Smart City which is similar to small medium enterprises (UKM) businessmen data. Thus UKM businessmen map can be displayed in Jakarta Smart City.
According to her, Jakarta Smart City also can accommodate the complaints and its follow-up handling such as in environment field, government, and public transportation service.
"Handling time response also keeps increasing. Previously was around 21 hours in average, now it is just 9 hours," she expressed.
She also added that besides complaints via Qlue that has also been integrated with Jakarta Smart City, citizen can also send complaint via email, social media, or even mobile phone's short message.
"Now we are in the middle of developing big data. We try to collect all data from each unit thus it can be governance's feedback to take on policy," she closed.
