Disparbud Held Tourism Branding Workshop in Jakarta

Jakarta Culture and Tourism Dept. (Disparbud) held Wonderful Indonesia and Enjoy Jakarta branding workshop. This activity was participated by 60 representative participants from tourism industry and also Jakarta Abang and None.

The purpose is to introduce and develop tourism sector in Jakarta, including Seribu Islands

Jakarta Disparbud Secretary, Jeje Nurjaman said the workshop is held on March 29-31, 2017.

"The purpose is to introduce and develop tourism sector in Jakarta, including Seribu Islands," he explained, Wednesday (3/29).

Two Ministries Support City to Develop Tourism Sector

According to him, in these activities, workshop participants are scheduled to visit Seribu Island on Thursday (3/30). They will discuss about the location's tourism development.

He added that Wonderful Indonesia is ranked 47th in the world's best branding category which released by Travel and Tourism Competition Indept World Economic Forum. This rank defeated Malaysia which in 96th rank position and Thailand in 83th rank position.

With that achievement, Jeje considered that number of foreign tourists who visit Indonesia will be increased. This opportunity should be maximized by tourism industrial doers in Jakarta.

"Facilities and Recreation transportation support must also be enhanced," he closed.
