Tourism Industry Doers Should Participate Preserving Betawi Culture

Tourism industry doers should be able to implement the Gubernatorial Regulation No. 11/2017 about Betawi Culture Icon. Because this can be City's attractiveness.

Technically Pergub No. 11 regulates about Betawi culture icon

City Culture and Tourism Dept. Head, Catur Laswanto said since the beginning of March, his side already made circular letter thus tourism industry abide by the regulation of Betawi Cultural Preservation. That regulation is noted in Bylaw No. 4/2015, Governor Regulation No. 229/2016, and Governor Regulation No. 11/2017.

"Technically, Governor Regulation No. 11 regulates about Betawi culture icon. Hopefully, businessmen could implement it," he expressed, Friday (3/24).

He exemplified such as to hoteliers in order to bring up Betawi ornaments in their building and provide Betawi foods. Furthermore, in every events which held in Jakarta should also display Betawi culture.
