Betawi Souvenir Outlet Socialization is done intensively by City Culture and Tourism (Disparbud). This is in accordance with Bylaw No. 4/2015, Governor Regulation No. 229/2016, and Governor Regulation No. 11/2017 about hotel industry obligation to play an active role toward Betawi culture.

Its implementation will be evaluated gradually

City Disparbud Secretary, Jeje Nurjaman said souvenir outlet could be a counter or booth. Principally, product that mentioned in Governor Regulation No.11/2017 about Betawi Icon should be provided in the location.

"Outlet can be filled by Betawi foods or batik crafts or anything. Not only for star hotel, but all hotels must do it," he affirmed, Thursday (3/30).

He admitted that his side already gathered organizations which consist of hotel owners and managements such as Hotel Association (JIHA) and Indonesia Hotel General Manager (IHGM) to socialize that regulation.

"We must keep socializing it to all levels. It s implementation will be evaluated gradually," he closed.
